Call to order
A meeting of Ohio State Taekwondo Association was held at 1359 Brice Road
Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068 on May 18, 2019. Called to order at 3:36 PM.
Attendees
Attendees included Amanda Potter, Geoff Colley, Steve Potter, Kathy Rhinehart, Larry Sanford, Robert Gross, Joanna Smyser, Andy Choi, Grandmaster Joon P. Choi, Bob Perry and Master Roy Bushman by phone.
Members not in attendance
Members not in attendance included Cathy Fitch, Grandmaster James Cahn, Matthew Klein, Master Jin Sung Pae, Debbie Plasterer, Master Chung Keun Lee, Master Jong Woon Kim, Abbie Taylor, Master Justin Taylor, Master Scott Schwab, Sara Schwab, Vincent Meng, and Anja McNeish.
Approval of minutes
Move to accept meeting minutes by Geoff Colley seconded by Master Kathy Rhinehart.
Motion carried
Reports
Amanda Potter submitted the report for the State Championships. Remote weigh-ins were about 4% of those using the remote service. USAT allows registration without payment.
Geoff Colley submitted the treasurer’s report.
Old business
Motion by Master Robert Perry second by Master Rhinehart not to have remote weigh-ins in the future. The weigh-ins will be on-site.
Motion carried
Motion by Master Andy Choi, seconded by Joanna Smyser to cover the fees up to the early registration fee, for world class Ohio coaches and athletes. They who be those who attended the 2019 Ohio State tournament going to the national tournament. A receipt will have to be submitted for reimbursement.

Motion by Master Robert Perry seconded by Master Andy Choi to give a maximum of $100 each up to 15 referees from Ohio who refereed at the 2019 Ohio State tournament to support their travel to the National Championships.

New business
Motion by Master Kathy Rhinehart seconded by Master Robert Perry to table the discussion to financial support of referee seminar until we know what kind of support we can give.
Motion defeated
Motion by Grandmaster Joon Choi seconded by Master Andy Choi to have the state of Ohio support the proposed referee seminar in Boardman, Ohio during the first week of September. In the way of promotion and potential financial support if appropriate. Amended, if funds are available after July 15th.
